University Spotlight - University of Dayton

The University of Dayton in Ohio are our feature University this week, a private research University founded in 1850, and members of the Atlantic 10 conference in NCAA D1.

A university that boasts not only fantastic, state of the art and modern facilities, but a picturesque campus and resident halls set in the heart of the University grounds as well. As a Soccer player you are never more than a stones throw from the campus as the Baujan field is located right in between the residence halls and campus!

Known as the Dayton Flyers the university athletics section competes in several sports, including Men's and Women's Soccer, with the Men's side having won the conference regular season title and conference tournament 4 times respectively, and the Women's side having won a whopping 11 conference regular season titles and 10 conference tournaments.

The University of Dayton's Men's Soccer program has a rich history of producing professional Footballers, particularly internationals, including Lalas Abubakar who currently plays in the MLS for the Colorado Rapids.
