University Spotlight - Prairie State College

Prairie State College feature in our spotlight series this week as we take a closer look at the College and what it has to offer!

Based in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Prairie State is a public Community College with over 2,500 students and is just a 30 minute drive from downtown Chicago. The main campus is over 137 acres and includes the majority of the College's buildings, however the schools North campus includes a fitness complex and health centre.

When competing on the pitch or court they are known as the Pioneers and have a successful Men's and Women's Soccer program, with the Men's team being the current NJCAA D2 Champions.

The school offers 95 different degrees and certificates for it's students, a major part of these being Associate's degrees which allow students to transfer to a 4 year institution to complete their Undergraduate degree of choice.
