We take a deeper look at Iowa Western Community College, for our spotlight series this week. Members of the ICCAC conference in NJCAA D1 this college is at the forefront of Junior College Athletics.
Based in Council Bluffs, Iowa, this is a community college with historical success in Men's Soccer, having won multiple Conference and Division titles, as well as competing at several National Championships - winning twice!
Known as the Reivers, the university has a strong athletics section competing for championships in several sports, including Men's and Women's Soccer.
The college was founded in 1967 and offers 84 programs in both vocational and technical areas as well as in liberal arts. It is also home to a flight school for any budding pilots.
