We put our spotlight on Franklin Pierce University this week for our College Spotlight feature, home of the 2022 NCAA D2 Men's Soccer champions!
Franklin Pierce University is a private university located in Rindge, New Hampshire, perfect for nature lovers with a 1,200 acre campus situated overlooking the serene Pearly Pond, just a few miles from Mount Monadnock. The school has just over 2,000 students, of which over 300 are Student-Athletes!
It was initially founded as Franklin Pierce College in 1962, however the school gained it's university status in 2007 and now offers undergraduate programs in a variety of arts, sciences, and professional disciplines, as well as master's degrees, doctoral degrees, and graduate certificate programs in business, education, and health sciences.
The University's most recent sporting success came with the 2022 Men's Soccer D2 National Championship, their second in program history!
Known as the Ravens, the University has 24 Varsity teams competing across a variety of Sports, including Men's and Women's Soccer, Ice Hockey and Rowing. The school also have a Men's and Women's Rugby team!
Soccer player's at the University compete on the recently renovated Sodexo Field in front of loyal Ravens fans come rain or shine as it is an all weather turf field.
